Our guided hiking tours range from very easy for seniors and families on nicely groomed trails to vertical rock climbing for the aggressive. The Alexander Mackenzie Heritage Trail is also a challenging trail to explore.

We are very fortunate to have three natural Hotsprings in the coastal area producing odorless mineral water at ideal temperatures. On a clear day your departure flight from Vancouver over the rugged Coast Range is unbelievably breathtaking. As you climb up over the height of land on the pressurized twin engine Beech 99 you experience a close up view of Mt. Waddington's awesome Glaciers and the Monarch Icefields. Mt. Waddington is the highest peak on the Coast Range at over 13,000 feet.

A short one hour scenic flight from the South Terminal airport in Vancouver puts you on location in Bella Coola. We have a mapped network of unlimited trails originating from our resort in the Valley. We guide you through ancient towering old growth timber stands to view hundreds of Spawning Pacific Salmon.

A Salmon Lunch

The Pacific Salmon has traditionally been the lifeline for the people and the Wildlife of the Coast. It is quite invigorating watching the Bears and Eagles fishing for the salmon as they make their way upriver to reproduce.

The huge Boar Grizzlies and Sows with Cubs fish in these pristine rivers in August, September, October and November to fatten up for the long Winter.

For your safety and protection our Wilderness Guides are always armed with at least Bear Spray to ensure your well-being.
